We bundled up and braced ourselves for our frigid morning in downtown Troy, New York. I wanted to capture the winter sunrise with Emily and Craig, and we were successful in getting these amazing shots without getting frostbite! Win!

Shana & Eric

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot for an old college friend and his girlfriend. We met in Manhattan, while the couple was on a weekend getaway and got some fantastic shots around Columbia University’s campus. Eric is a motivational speaker and has a charismatic way with words. I could tell by their interaction that Eric swiftly swept Shana off her feet with his charm and humor.

Shana is a consultant for a top management consulting firm in Virginia. Absolutely gorgeous, my 50mm lens was drawn to her warm smile and bubbly personality!

Shana attended Columbia University and she picked the perfect location to do the shoot. An overpass bridge overlooking Broadway, with tall buildings serving as a beautiful backdrop for the fun couple. Eric couldn’t help but keep Shana laughing and smiling, even while coat-less in the 30 degree weather.

I really enjoyed this shoot. Shana and Eric effortlessly expressed their affection for one another both on and off camera. I wish them the best of luck and love :)
