As we all welcomed in the new year, the City of Albany also welcomed in a new administration of elected officials, and the first female mayor of the city, Mayor Kathy Sheehan. I wasn't only in attendance at the Kiernan Plaza to witness such an historic moment, but I was also there to cheer on my friend and sorority sister, Dorcey Applyrs, the newly elected Common Councilwoman for the 1st Ward in Albany! Congrats to all the public officials sworn in yesterday!

Last night I had a great time at the Some Girls Boutique S Party, celebrating the launch of some of their new merchandise and their new store layout, designed by fashion consultant Abby Coufal. The event was super successful... great music from DJ Trumastr, pop-up shops from local vendors, plus a great sale on the boutique's goodies!
